Recently I found a game dealing with a historical matter. I wouldn’t say that it is very scientific, but it is amusing.
World Mosaics
Someone Dr. Remington has unearthed an artifact which belongs to the Pelasgian culture (Pelasgians were among so called "Sea People" who invaded the Eastern Mediterranean, destroyed the Hittite kingdom and attacked Egypt about 3200 years ago). In order to reveal the mysteries of their society and culture, the player has to solve a few pictographic puzzles left by them. The World Mosaics quest starts in Greece at the Parthenon, but continues around the world before one can solve it completely.
